David Matthews

Transport and Logistics Director

Summary    


David has 20 years transport and logistics experience, including 5 years at Senior Management level working in transport and logistics all over Europe.    Dave has responsibility for all YellowRoc’s logistical and transport challenges and oversight for all vehicle and workshop maintenance.   


Strengths    


Dave has deep knowledge of transporting loads of varying sizes and weights all over Europe. He grew up on building sites as all the Matthews children did and has been involved in YellowRoc’s growth and evolvement from a young age.  


Resumé   


David has managed the logistics for the UK's biggest logistical brands including Eddie Stobart, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Turners and Wincanton. He holds the European Community Certificate of professional Competence in Road Haulage and the Level 3 Certificate of Professional Competence for Transport Managers which is valid throughout Europe. David is also a certified Microsoft systems engineer.    


Personal

 

A dedicated husband and father of three. He and is family reside in a quiet village in Northamptonshire, England. David is the youngest of YellowRoc founder Jack Matthews' eight children.
