R G Matthews
R G has been with YellowRoc for over twelve years, returning in 2010 after serving with the group in the 1980's and 90's.
Jason has been with the YellowRoc construction Group for over thirty years only leaving briefly to work on set's and props for some major motion pictures..
David has been with the Group for over twenty years loyally serving in and then running the transport and logistics division throughout.
R G has 35 years construction experience, including over 25 years at Senior Management level working in the construction and engineering industries on four continents. His expertise lies in his unique understanding of bringing disparate disciplines together to create the highest quality one of a kind turnkey solutions.
He is responsible for YellowRoc’s business development and oversees master planning, as well as the creative and aesthetic development of YellowRoc's commercial projects worldwide. He holds budget autonomy and delivery control on all commercial construction, engineering, fabrication, and shop-fitting tasks handled by YellowRoc.
R G relishes rare and challenging opportunities to help concept, implement, and champion the long-term vision of quality driven, time sensitive projects. As an engineer and head of construction he pioneers at the intersection of construction, engineering, and disruptive technologies. As a manager he leads from the front, spearheading continual growth, progress, and dedication to quality.

Originally apprenticing as a bricklayer/ brick mason while growing up in the seventies and eighties on construction sites within the family construction business, R G was trained by his father and older siblings as a proficient bricklayer before hitting his teens.
After leaving full time education he trained as a civil engineer, realising that this professional skill would allow him to further his career and ambitions. While studying he continued as a bricklayer in the family enterprise, he also trained in AutoCAD and Draughtsmanship, and in CNC programming, setting, and operating. He later trained as an Electrical Engineer to further his unique and formidable skill set. R G wanted to stay ahead of the curve with his knowledge believing that the construction industry would evolve, becoming more automated, organised and modular. He was right.
R G left the family business to embark on projects that allowed him to work around the globe for over twenty years but most importantly to manage projects that were more and more challenging with higher and higher specifications and ever increasing quality of finishes.
As a project manager, R G has led and delivered multi-million-dollar projects over his 35 years as a construction professional. Having previously worked with world leading companies such as Aecom, Kier, Lorne Stewart, Sir Robert McAlpine, and Taylor Woodrow.
R G is able to mould and shape an organisation, deliver world class products and service, motivate an expert and diverse team, and manage both change and multiple projects resources skilfully for the short, medium, and long term.
As a construction contractor, R G offers YellowRoc’s clients a business partner who will facilitate the entire construction process, including pre-construction concerns, development of construction budgets and production schedules, management of subcontractors and government entities and the finalisation of all projects on the most time and cost-effective schedule as possible.
R G lives with his wife and soulmate who also has a successful professional career. The pair have been best friends for over thirty years and are dedicated to their children and two Labradors. They both enjoy outdoor activities and love travelling the world together.
Born in London, he has adopted his wife's hometown, the Victorian Spa town of Harrogate, in North Yorkshire, England as home, where he likes to be whenever possible.
R G also serves as a producer at a production company that has made award winning and critically acclaimed documentaries about popular culture, that have premiered and enjoyed series runs on the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) in the UK and worldwide.
Jason has 35 years construction and design experience, working on many diverse projects including major motion pictures, general construction, and retail and scenic design. He is responsible for the creative and aesthetic delivery of YellowRoc's projects across the planet.

Driven by a burning passion to achieve a client’s perfect design and aesthetic, Jay has an enviable amount of experience. He serves on the board of directors and is a stakeholder in the group.
From a young age, Jay has been a highly creative person. As a schoolboy, his artwork was displayed at the Tate gallery in London, England. Over the years he has gained experience in many creative disciplines, which now serve to YellowRoc's benefit. Jay has a deep knowledge and experience of creating final print files for production, assembling graphics and theming packages. Jay is excellent in developing concept sketches/ Photoshop overlays/ 3D renderings, building out print ready graphics from provided sketches and design comps, and creating graphic and theming comps based on design direction. He is also experienced planning design concepts and direction based upon provided client information.
Jay has extensive design skills including graphic design, Illustration, 3D modelling, and print production. He has of CAD software including in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, SketchUp, and Revit.
Jay freelanced as an illustrator for local and national newspapers and magazines in the 80’s and 90’s whilst working for YellowRoc during the day, allowing him to gain massive experience and contacts. He also has experience in prop making, storyboarding and special effects working on major motion pictures, including Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein in 1994. Jay's portfolio also includes master planning large schemes and refurbishment projects for the prestigious department store Harrods of Knightsbridge.
Jay's family owned and operated a painting and decorating business when he was young in the 1970s and 1980s, where he first began to work for YellowRoc founder Jack Matthews and the now CEO RG; Jay and RG have mostly worked together forming an intuitive and formidable partnership ever since.
Born and raised in the City of Westminster, London, England. He now resides in the Victorian Spa town of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England with his two children whom he loves. He has an adoration for cars, a passion for travel and experiencing different cultures, enjoys anything Marvel and DC films, and is an avid photographer of architectural design.
David has 20 years of transport and logistics experience, including 5 years at Senior Management level working in transport and logistics all over Europe. Dave has responsibility for all YellowRoc’s logistical and transport challenges, and oversight for all vehicle and workshop maintenance.
He has a deep knowledge of transporting loads of varying sizes and weights all over Europe. He grew up on building sites, as all the Matthews children did, and has been involved in YellowRoc’s growth and evolvement from a young age.
Dave has managed the logistics for the some of the biggest logistical brands including Eddie Stobart, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Turners, and Wincanton. He holds the European Community Certificate of professional competence in Road Haulage and the Level 3 Certificate of Professional Competence for Transport Managers which is valid throughout Europe. David is also a certified Microsoft systems engineer.
David is a dedicated husband and father of three. He and his family reside in a quiet village in Northamptonshire, England. David is a massive fan of 80's pop culture and enjoys re-watching the Ghostbusters movies, even the new ones! He is is the youngest of YellowRoc founder Jack Matthews' eight children.
